Bright caramel, a touch of cherry, and tobacco. Quite dark in profile: lots of nougat, caramel, cocoa, espresso, tobacco. Rich and viscous on the palate, the proof is deceptive. Dark morello cherry and cherry cordials with a bold blackberry finish.

I ordered this later in the evening and selected standard shipping, by the next morning I got a notification it was already on its way. Shipping was very fast and it arrived (just two days after ordering) bubble wrapped both in and outside the package very well to prevent any damage. This is a gift for my brother so I can’t tell you how it tastes, but it is packaged beautifully and arrived in perfect condition. I would absolutely order from Bestbourbonshop again just based on how quickly and carefully they handled the whole process.

If you get past the initial nose which is a tad harsh this bourbon has a rich flavour, sweet (like a light Christmas cake….) with a touch of smoke underlying the overall effect. If you let the glass breathe a bit (20 ish minutes), the nose does come out a bit with some candied fruit tones.
