This rum was made as a collaboration of Alexandre Gabriel’s rum blending expertise as the owner of Maison Ferrand and producer of Plantation rum and spirits and cocktail historian David Wondrich. Plantation Pineapple Rum Stiggins’ Fancy is a pineapple rum created by infusing ripe Queen Victoria pineapples in rich, aged Plantation Original Dark Rum for 3 months. The pineapple rind (where the pineapple’s essential oil chiefly resides) was macerated in rum and then distilled, thus creating a bright pineapple essence to blend with the lushness of the infused Plantation rum.
